• “Circle of Recovery” - Treatment Alternatives has developed “The Circle of Recovery”. Recovery from addiction requires constant vigilance which is a lifelong process that is lived “One day at a time.” Supporting you or your loved one with coaching, not bossing is what the “Circle of Recovery” is all about. Each phase of our “Circle of Recovery” process is monitored, supervised and coached by professional staff as well as recovering participants, whose real life experience with addiction, recovery, and sobriety is invaluable for all concerned in the treatment of each recovering patient. To be guided and not forced is the only path for the “Circle of Recovery.” We believe in the principle of incentive, not arbitrary promotion. We strive to help guide each individual to places they would never go if forced. Encouraging employment in order to promote financial responsibility; as well as relapse prevention and living skills are essential processes of the “Circle of Recovery.”
• Individual Therapy / Psychologists available - During your time at the Treatment Alternatives you will be presented with opportunities for treatment that would be difficult to find in any “normal” rehabilitation center. Because the Treatment Alternatives is everything but “normal”, each patient is accorded individual therapy whenever they feel the need for a more structured recovery, or even feel the need to just talk about what is on their mind. With on premise psychological professionals on call twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week each patient, whether they are here for drug rehabilitation or alcohol addiction can count on support for any matter, and no matter is too small.
• Medical Treatment / Support - Some great things come with location. In the case of the Treatment Alternatives this is no coincidence. Our chosen location is within a half mile distance from some of the best emergency and recovery facilities in the United States. The highly rated Delray medical center, urgent care facilities, and a myriad of other support facilities from mental to physical are also within close proximity to ensure you or your loved one have whatever care that may be required in case of an emergency. Appropriate housing while living with other like minded patients provides an essential environment for recovery. Another aspect of the Treatment Alternatives is the executive level housing and décor. This may not seem important to some, but staying in a home of such warmth and class along with well dressed professionals that do not judge or treat anyone any less than an equal; fosters a feeling of aspiration and drive that is not available in any institution consisting of sterile, hard and lifeless concrete. • Family Living - The Estates offers a unique and structured sober living environment which is ideal for adult males who would like to implement the tools essential for long-term recovery. With a maximum occupancy of only twelve patients at one time the Treatment Alternatives offers the unique ability for close-knit recovery with the support of peers as well as consummate professionals. Please note that the Treatment Alternatives is in no way a “Half-Way House” or simple “Drug rehabilitation” facility. • Low Patient Population - One design aspect of the Treatment Alternatives is keeping the patient population down to no more than twelve recovering patients at a time. Because of this, we have the ability to offer intense one-on-one counseling which is a scheduled part of all recovery and also available whenever you or your loved one is in need. The “twelve man group” also allows the perfect setting for group discussions which take place on a daily basis. This low patient population is conducive to the success of all who have made the decision to recover. The support and inspiration of like minded patients allow each recovering individual to open up to new sobering possibilities for a life after addiction.
• Single Sex Environment - At the Treatment Alternatives we offer a single sex environment in order to reduce any un-needed distraction during treatment. This is a simple way to keep things on the up-and-up and is beneficial to the recovery of each patient at the Estates.
• Relapses and Re-entry - Experience is hard earned in the world of recovery. We at the Treatment Alternatives understand addiction in every sense. Because of this understanding we have created re-entry criteria that benefit the recovering addict who has relapsed after participating in the recovery program here at the Treatment Alternatives. Each individual must be reassessed for desire to recover, then will be re-instated into the program at a level that is determined by only professionals that have personal experience with the individual who has relapsed. Therefore making it unnecessary to repeat the entire process of recovery.
